Learn, speak and teach German
German is a language closely related to English and is considered as one of the major languages in the world. Roughly, 100 million people speak German. In the United States, it is the 4th most commonly used language.
Among the countries that use the German language are Germany, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and some parts of Switzerland, Russia, Romania, Italy, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Hungary. German is also the official language in at least four of the member states of the European Union and reportedly, more than 120 million Europeans speak German either as a first or second language.
